Washington Post syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer will speak at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter on April 12.
He'll give the keynote speech at the 2012 Lindau Symposium at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in the college's Alumni Hall. It's free and open to the public.
Symposium organizers say the goal "is to encourage dialogue among Gustavus faculty, staff, and students and to promote broad-based intellectual rigor and appreciation of all viewpoints in order to cultivate a campus-wide respect for civil discourse for future generations. "
The Pulitzer Prize-winning Krauthammer will be back in the state May 22 for the Center for the American Experience annual dinner at the Hilton Minneapolis.
This will be Krauthammer's second appearance in three years as the CAE's keynote speaker. Tickets are $150.
