Jewish Community Action is holding a rally Sunday against the two proposed constitutional amendments that will be on the November ballot in Minnesota.
Speakers will include a rabbi, a Catholic priest, an imam and a Baptist preacher, organizers say.
They oppose the proposed constitutional amendment defining marriage as only between a man and a woman, and the proposed amendment that would require a photo ID for voting.
The group says both proposed amendments conflict with Jewish tradition.
On the gay marriage ban, Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman of Temple Israel said: "We must come together as multiple faith communities to demonstrate our opposition that singles out one group of people and limits their freedom in the constitution."
And on Voter ID, Richard Chase, Jewish Community Action board chair said:
"This amendment takes Minnesota in the wrong direction, making it harder for people to vote, particularly the elderly, veterans and students."
