St. Paul's Ford Site Planning Task Force meets tonight to look at a timetable for razing the former manufacturing plant.
The company's decommissioning team will be introduced and will update the timeline for demolition.
The 6:30 p.m. meeting is in the Ford Site Training Center's auditorium, at Ford Parkway and Mount Curve Boulevard.
City staff and consultants will also give an "overview of zoning tools."
The 21 members of the task force are residents and representatives of the local and regional business communities, the environmental community, labor and Ford Land Co.
The plant, on 150 acres in Highland Park, near the Mississippi River, operated for 80 years but closed in December. City officials hope to turn the disappointment of the closing into a positive redevelopment effort.
