Advanced BioEnergy, an ethanol firm based in Bloomington, will pay $136,500 in fines after an inspection found violations at two of its facilities in South Dakota.

The EPA says the company is correcting the violations, which involved problems with its risk management programs for using and storing chemicals, and failing to properly file forms on the use and management of chemicals.

The plants are in Huron and Aberdeen.
