Manuel Cervantes, former St. Paul city attorney, to join Workers' Comp Appeals Court

Gov. Mark Dayton has appointed Manuel Cervantes to the state's Worker's Compensation Court of Appeals.

Cervantes, who was St. Paul city attorney from 2002 to 2006, is currently a state administrative law judge.

He replaces Judge Thomas Johnson, whose term expired.

The judges on the court, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, review workers' compensation cases decided by compensation judges.
