On Thursday the Minnesota Senate Environment and Energy Committee considered SF 666, a bill that would impose a 5-year moratorium on wolf hunting in Minnesota, starting June 30, 2013. Minnesota had its first wolf season last year. After hearing testimony for and against the bill, the panel voted 7–6 in favor.
