A discussion of college affordability between students and policy-makers will be conducted Monday at the University of Minnesota.
Attending will be U.S. Sen. Al Franken, Gov. Mark Dayton, University President Eric Kaler and Minnesota Office of Higher Education Director Larry Pogemiller.
Officials say students from the University and MnSCU systems, as well as Minnesota’s private, technical and community colleges, will be there to discuss the challenges of paying for college and their concerns about student debt.
The 10 a.m. forum is in the Science Teaching and Student Services Building on the University’s Minneapolis campus.
