Electric automaker Tesla Motors has been in the news lately after the New York Times ran an article written by John Broder alleging that the company's Model S car didn't live up to its promised charge-holding performance, particularly in cold conditions. Tesla shot back in a blog post, claiming that vehicle logs from the test car showed that Broder had not operated his vehicle in the way he described in the article, failing to charge it completely. (Broder wrote a response to Musk.) Tesla chairman Elon Musk stands by his cars' cold-weather peformance, especially since they tested them in one of the coldest places in the continental United States: Baudette, MN. The video below shows clips of Tesla's tests of the Model S in Baudette.
