Winona LaDuke, author and activist, will speak Mar. 29 at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs about environmental justice.

Her lecture, sponsored by the University of Minnesota Women’s Center as part of its Women’s History Month events, is at 6:30 p.m. in the Humphrey School's Cowles Auditorium.

LaDuke is a founder and co-director of Honor the Earth, a national advocacy group encouraging public support and funding for native environmental groups. She works nationally and internationally on issues of climate change, renewable energy, sustainable development, food systems and environmental justice.
