Author and voter ID advocate John Fund was recently in the Twin Cities to make the case in favor of the proposed constitutional amendment requiring voters to show ID and introducing a provisional balloting system to the state. He was joined by Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman, who opposes the amendment, for a debate hosted by the University of St. Thomas.
