Mitt Romney's two fundraisers in Minnesota on Thursday brought in more than $875,000, reports MPR.
The story calculated a fundraiser at the Lafayette Country Club in Minnetonka Beach drew about 350 people who contributed between $2,500 and $10,000 to attend.
Romney also was at a private dinner in a Shorewood home with supporters who contributed $50,000.
He had no public events, even though his visit came on the first day of the Minnesota State Fair.
Romney has been out-raising President Obama all summer, as the presidential campaign starts kicking into high gear. The Washington Post says Romney is getting big bucks from traditionally liberal areas around the country.
